Datin Dr. Rehana Kassim

Managing Director, REHANSTAT

Datin Dr. Rehana Kassim is the founder and Managing Director of REHANSTAT. She is a hands-on technopreneur responsible for the management of REHANSTAT, which includes overseeing the human resource, financial and to the marketing functions of the company's services.

A statistician by profession, Datin Dr. Rehana has over 40 years of working experience. She worked as a researcher in MARDI for nearly 10 years, continued as a lecturer at MARA Institute of Technology for 13 years and finally running of REHANSTAT since its incorporation in 1992. Her research and consultancy experience was also derived from her years of working with a broad range of government sectors and industries such as in the areas of finance, tourism, manufacturing and IT.

Datin Dr. Rehana Kassim holds a professional qualification from the Institute of Statisticians United Kingdom and Bachelor of Science in Statistics from Northern Illinois University, USA. She then attained her Masters in Philosophy (Knowledge Management), and later proceeded to Doctorate of Business Administration in Knowledge Management. The DBA thesis is entitled "Knowledge Management Processes as a Determinant of Organizational Performance".
As networking is an essential element for a business person, she is an active member of a number of relevant organizations. Some of which are: National Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Malaysia (NAWEM) as a committee member; ESOMAR, a global market research organization based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands; and Outsourcing Malaysia (OM), an initiative of the Shared Services & Outsourcing (SSO) industry and a chapter of PIKOM, the National ICT Association; Market Research Society Malaysia (MRSM).

Being a responsible corporate citizen, Datin Dr. Rehana practices corporate social responsibility (CSR) by being a committee member of The Society for Severely Mentally Handicapped Selangor and Federal Territory (SSMH). She is also involved with other numerous charitable bodies in Malaysia.

Sarojini Ruth Rajahser is the Managing Director of Data-Tech Sdn Bhd, a company providing outsourcing services for transferring data into input media such as paper document, microfilm and microfiche. A true entrepreneur at heart, Sarojini’s success story began with a humble start as a data entry operator. She quickly moved up the ranks to supervisor and her efforts paid-off when she bought over the company where she start her career.
