Who We Are

Our Purpose

NAWEM was founded on the firm belief that the full realisation of human potential is limited only by the acquisition of skill, knowledge, and the availability of information and opportunities. We provide an excellent platform for women entrepreneurs, offering the leadership to influence and shape policies that benefit women in business and the nation.

NAWEM Kuching

Initiated by Sarawakian founding members Dr. Dianne Tsen and Cynthia Lim, NAWEM Kuching was inaugurated on 8th September 2014. Their shared aspiration to connect Sarawakian women entrepreneurs to a national association became the impetus for this chapter's establishment.

This affiliation allows members to network with their Peninsular sisters while attending chapter events within Sarawak. The Sarawak Chapter continues to grow in strength, taking women entrepreneurs in the region beyond its boundaries.
